Rwanda/Uganda: Kagame Sets $1500 Bonus for Uganda Game

Kampala — NEVER has Rwandan football invested so much in the pursuit of CECAFA Senior Challenge Cup glory. Rwanda President Paul Kagame has made sure his team will have a million reasons to be excited if they can humble Uganda in today's make-or-break fixture at Namboole Stadium.

According to reliable sources from the team's camp, each player will walk off with an attractive US$1500 (sh3m) for a win and have been guaranteed US$1000 (sh2m) for any another victories in the tournament that started yesterday. "It's basically to motivate the team, something he (Kagame) has always done for the team," the source disclosed.
