Uganda: Kabila Vows to Destroy Kony

Kampala — President Joseph Kabila has vowed to destroy LRA rebels over Atrocities they have committed in his country.

Democratic Republic of Congo Government Spokesperson Lambert Mende Omalanga told the media that they had resolved to destroy the LRA a day after UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon denounced the LRA's alleged role in massacres in Congo and in southern Sudan.

He said Congo had given the LRA a chance to negotiate peace with the authorities in Uganda but instead refused to sign the peace deal.
