Ghana: Radio and TV Stations Begin Announcing Provisional Results

Accra — Various radio and TV stations have started announcing provisional results live from polling stations in the Tain Constituency.

The presidential run-off in the Tain constituency ended at 17:00 GMT and counting began thereafter. Counting has now ended in most polling stations and collation is underway.

Metro TV is for the first time is covering live results from the Tain collation centre.

Elections successfully ended in Tain without any major incident across 114 polling stations in the constituency despite a boycott of this election by the ruling party.

The Electoral Commission (EC) office in the constituency is aiming to declare constituency level result by 21:00 hours GMT today 2nd January.

bravo once again my brother.the CDC party is the party of the people and for the people and it represent the natives sons and daugthers of the land of liberia therefore we will never allow thus power grief leaders to spoil the good image of this party.we the supporters home and abroad will do what ever it cost to maintain the value and image of this party.we love this party and we are ready for 2011 election.
