Swaziland striker Phinda Dlamini, who is currently undergoing trials at Super Sport United, has impressed the coach Gavin Hunt.
Dlamini scored a goal in a friendly against the University of Pretoria during the week and is now set to sign with the defending League champions.
Hunt confirms to KickOff.com that the player is very good, though he insists no final decision has been taken, especially with their foreign quota already exhausted.
"I am very impressed with the young boy. He is a good striker who would add value to the team as we fight to defend the League this season. I'm just waiting to hear from the bosses on whether we transfer one foreigner and keep the young player, or make some other arrangement.
"Personally, I feel we need the player in the team. He is very good and can improve even more," Hunt says.
Dlamini tells KickOff.com he is happy with his performance since he left Swaziland for Pretoria.
"I think I have done well. I even scored a goal in one of the friendlies after coming off the bench," he says.
Dlamini is currently staying with compatriot Dennis Masina, who is acting as his guardian because he is still only 17 years old.
