Somalia: Ethiopian Soldiers Take Over Government Soldiers' Base

Somalia — The Ethiopian soldiers have taken over the control of Ex-control Afgoi which was a military base for the Somali government soldiers in Mogadishu on Monday, officials told radio Shabelle.

Members of the interim government officials who requested not to be named have confirmed that the Ethiopian soldiers took over the control of Ex-control Afgio which was a base for the government soldiers after they have chased the soldiers.

On Sunday five Ethiopian soldiers were killed and more others wounded in a roadside bomb attack between Ex-control Afgoi and the former university of Somali people in Mogadishu and it is unclear why the Ethiopian soldiers have chased the soldiers and took over the control of Ex-control Afgoi in Mogadishu.
