Nigeria: Oladapo On Trial in Spain

Former Nigeria youth international Olufemi Oladapo is on trial at Spanish second division side UD Salamanca, his epresentative has said. "Oladapo is trying out with Salamanca and we are hopeful of a deal," said former Nigeria international goalkeeper Joseph Dosu, who represents the versatile midfielder.

"It will be a good place for him to continue his career in Europe as Salamanca look promising to return to the Spanish top flight at the end of the season."

Salamanca top the 22-team Spanish second division with 31 points from 17 matches, two points ahead of closest rivals Real Zaragoza.

Oladapo, 20, has had brief stints at Anderlecht and Boavista in the last two seasons. He featured at the 2007 Fifa World Youth Championship in Canada, where Nigeria reached the quarter-finals.He was also in Nigeria's squad to the 2008 Olympics in Beijing and has been capped at full international level.
