Nigeria: EPL Manager for Mid-Season Seminar

5 January 2009

The Nigeria Premier League are hoping to have a serving English Premier League manager deliver a lecture during their mid-season seminar in Abuja later this month.

"We expect coaching instructors from the USA and England, including a serving Premier League manager," NPL Executive Secretary Al Hassan Yakmut told KickOffNigeria.com, although he admitted that it might be a big ask.

"We requested a serving manager from the EPL, but that might be difficult to get as the clubs will be entering a crucial phase of the season at that time and it will be difficult for any manager to leave his team.

"But the alternative will be to have one who is currently between jobs."

Also expected will be the Wembley Stadium Head Grounds man, who missed the last seminar following flight difficulties.
