Midfielder Dickson Etuhu made a welcome return from injury in Fulham's 2-2 draw against Chelsea, but Nigeria coach Shuaibu Amodu is in no hurry to hand him an international recall.

Amodu is set to release a 50-man player pool to prosecute the final phase of World Cup qualifying, but he refused to make any commitment as to Etuhu's place in the squad.

"I am happy to see that he is back and playing again. That is good for us," Amodu told KickOffNigeria.com. "But that is far as I can say.

"The last time I was in London, I spoke to him and he told me he was getting better.

"I will see him when I go back there again in January. I can't talk about inviting him until I have seen him. It is only after I have seen him and spoken to him that we can look in that direction."
