As the celebration of Christmas and new year comes to an end, motor parks in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) were over the weekend, crowded as residents returned back to the capital city.
The FCT has come alive with people as normal work resumed yesterday as most civil servants reported to work, while ministries in FCT the have commenced normal duties.
Some of the civil servants in the FCT expressed happiness over the long break as it gave people the opportunity to celebrate with their loved ones."As you can see, I have gone home to celebrate Xmas and new year with my family. It is so fantastic to spend sometime with your family," said Mr Timothy Joseph.
Also, Mrs. Helen John explained that "I have gone home to rest a lot and I forgot the traffic jams of Nyanya, Mararaba road. But now, am into it again. Well, we thank the Almighty God for making us to see this year 2009", she added.
