South Africa: Stars Put Four on Transfer

7 January 2009

With the transfer window open the players merry go round has gone into full swing and Free State Stars have put four players on transfer.

Ea Lla Koto have disclosed that wingers Bruin Senokoane and Sifiso Sithole, along with striker Tshepo Mashego and defender Christopher Tsotetsi have been placed on the transfer list ahead of the second round of the Absa Premiership.

Stars' players have not had the luxury of the Christmas break as they started training on December 27 and only had Public holidays to rest.

According to team captain Duncan Lechesa, they are not regretting coming to the early camp as the team is looking sharper than ever.

Before losing to their neighbours Bloemfontein Celtic, in the last game of the first round, Stars went five games unbeaten that includes the memorable and convincing win over Kaizer Chiefs.

Lechesa has vowed to start the season on a high note, starting the second round matches with Durban-based AmaZulu.

The game is scheduled for January 10 at Goble Park Stadium. Kick-off is at 15h30.
