Nigeria: We'll Complete All Projects -Ali

Damaturu — The Yobe State Governor Sen. Mamman Bello Ali has assured the people of the State that no project initiated by his administration would be left uncompleted at the end of his tenure in office.

Speaking at a forum of visiting media representatives from across the country at the WAWA Hall Damaturu monday, Governor Ali stressed that: "no project initiated by this administration shall be left uncompleted at the end of my first four years tenure as chief executive of the State."

Speaking further the governor said: "I can not promised how many projects my administration will commission between now and May 2009 but all projects would be completed and commissioned."

On Internally generated revenue (IGR) in the State, the Governor said, "IGR is low but the government is determined to execute and complete all projects in the State, it is just a matter of managing the limited resources available for the development of infrastructure in the State.

Speaking on the sustainance of the projects initiated by his administration the governor said they are so qualitative that no subsequent administration can afford to resist or abandoned the projects.

The governor however commended the media for their criticisms for good governance and assured the media that his government would continue to work hand in hand with the media for the growth of the society.
