Angola: Government Formalises Creation of Professional Training Centres

7 January 2009

Luanda — The Angolan Government has formalised the creation of Provincial Professional Training Centres, to train cadres of the 1st, 3rd and 4th levels, according to the required system.

The measure was published in the State Gazette, nº 203, I Series, of 28 October 2008, which reached Angop Wednesday in Luanda.

These centres were created in the provinces of Cabinda, Huíla, Kwanza Sul, Kwanza Norte, Moxico, Namibe (with two) and Uíge.

The Professional Training Centres aim at promoting and valorising the trainees, endowing them with technical and deontological values in order to allow their quick integration in the job market.

The beneficiaries will provide services to companies and other entities linked to training areas, as well as neighbouring communities.
