Angola: Recreativo Do Libolo On Training in Brazil

Sumbe — First division football's Recreativo do Libolo, of Kwanza-Sul province, are expected to be starting a 20-day training programme in São Paulo, Brazil, ahead of the2009 football season, Angop learned.

Recreativo do Libolo may play local teams, ahead of their participation in the national championship, Angola Cup and Cup of the African Football Confederations (CAF), said the head of club's Football Department, Augusto Correia.

He also announced that the team will count on six reinforcement. They are goalkeeper Angelo, mid-fielder Mendes (from 1º de Agosto), Yano and Eduardo (Interclube), Jojó (Sagrada Esperança) and Pedy (ASA).

We have to appear in a good shape in the beginning of the championship and in the Afro cups, to get good results", he said.

Desportivo do Libolo are playing the 16th of the finals of the African Football Confederation (Caf) against the winner of the game between Mighty Barrollé, of Liberia and Cote D'ivoire's SOA.
