Freetown — Africell Lintel Sierra Leone has handed over a brand new motorbike to Maj. Karifa Kamara of the Republic of Sierra Leone armed forces as his own share in the ongoing end of year promotion.

The occasion, which took place at the Sierra Leone broadcasting service, was part of the company's corporate social responsibility.

Africell's head of marketing Claudius Davies said the draw was transparent, noting that Sierra Leoneans should have confidence in whatever they were doing.

"We are number one for a reason. We are rewarding our valued subscribers than any other mobile company in the country," he said.

Africell's communications officer Tommy Terry-Coker said the company was committed to providing quality and affordable service for its subscribers.

He advised the winner to take the message back home that Africell was here to stay for real and that they would continue to provide the best service.

Winner Maj. Kamara of Teko Barracks in Makeni thanked Africell for the prize, adding that the company always does what it says.

He said Africell makes development in all the communities where they operate and that the beautification of the cotton tree would give the company more respect.

Among those that won motorbikes were: Abdul Bangura, Claudius Sesay, Musa Sesay, Kadiatu Turay, Mohamed Kanu, Whatfa, Hassan Bangura and Adekalie Mansaray.
