Kampala — VICTORS FC owner Col. Jackson 'Bell' Tushabe has parted ways with his club head coach Frank 'Video' Anyau following a disagreement over the flamboyant tactician's contract. George Lutalo, who quit Boroboro at the heat of the club's relegation struggle last season, has replaced Anyau.

Anyau walked out of the club last week to join first division side Nsejere Holdings saying that his former boss had refused to give him a contract.

"The most important thing for me is my future at a club. When I'm not sure of my future, I leave," Anyau, who claims he has now signed a five-year contract at Nsejere stressed yesterday.

But Tushabe said that the charismatic coach left because his agreement with him was to coach Victors for the first round of the Uganda Super League that ended in November.

"I did not sack him but he had to go because I only had an agreement with him to take us through the first round of the league. He told me he had other programmes to fulfil," Tushabe explained.

Anyau arrived at the Jinja based Victors after kickoff of the season following the unexpected departure of Sula Kato to SC Villa.

He enjoyed mixed fortunes that as usual kept his tactical ability at the mid-table team in question among fans and fellow club officials.

Lutalo's biggest task in the one year deal with Victors will see him guide the team in the forthcoming CAF Confederations Cup. Victors take on Zimbabwe's Caps United later this month.
