Luanda — The former Angolan ambassador to Canada, Miguel Zau Puna, will be get a homage next Saturday from the ruling party's youth wing (JMPLA) for the dignifying and patriotic way he led his diplomatic mission, ANGOP has learnt.
A JMPLA note from Canada says that the committee highlights the patriotic way that the former ambassador carried out his diplomatic mission, to strengthen the co-operation between Angola and Canada.
It also acknowledges that the Angolan diplomat was able to create a good climate for a new consciousness in Canadian circles regarding the way they perceive Angola.
The document quotes as example the significant increase of the current Canadian investment in Angola in comparison to the previous years and the permanent exploration visits by Canadians businesspeople to Angola.
