Ilorin — AN ace broadcaster and the General Manager of the Kwara State Television Service (KWTV) Mallam Nurudeen Abdulrahim Imam, yesterday, lamented the bad health service in the nation calling on the Federal Government to stop paying lip service to the health sector and rescue it before it wrecks further damages to the entire nation the tragic.
Mallam Abdulraheem Imam made the plea while playing host to the delegation of the State Ministry of Information and Home Affairs led by the Acting Permanent Secretary of the ministry, Hajia Hawawu Shaada during a condolence visit to the Television Station on the death of the Assistant Technical Officer of the television, Mr. BusayoAdeowu.
According to him the staff,aged 29 dedicated honest and one of the very few trusted staff of the station was rushed to the hospital Monday night in severe pains but could not receive medical attention for hours due to lack of facilities.
"He was on the bare floor for hours while the staff were looking for ways out,before we decided to take him away from there, he died moments later before we could take him to the nearest private hospital," he expressed Imam canvassed that, the government teaching hospitals the last hope of the common man supposed
