The council of Patrons, National executives and the entire members of the Supporters Union of Ghana (Sugha), has congratulated His Excellency Prof. John Evans Fiifi Atta Mills, the President of the Republic of Ghana, for the good fight he and his party put up to assume the leadership and governance of this great country.

"We pledge our unflinching support to the President and the party, and wish the President all the best," a statement signed by Harry Awuah Baffour, General Secretary and acting President of Sugha.

The statement added, "we have no doubt that your high profiled disciplined nature, dedication and humility will spur you on to make this nation the shining star of Africa, and to become one of the best Presidents Ghana ever had."

We hope that the President, as a sportsman, will give prompt attention to the passion of the nation -sports, in order to put the nation on the world map as a competitive sporting nation.
