Nigeria: Unintentional Injuries Claim 2,000 Children - WHO

Lagos — A new report issued by WHO and UNICEF indicates that more than 2,000 children die everyday worldwide, as a result of unintentional or accidental injuries.

The report, a copy of which was made available to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) yesterday in Abuja, said every year, millions of children worldwide were admitted into hospitals with injuries that often leave them with lifelong disabilities.
