Speaking at the act that marked the commemorative events of the National Culture Day, marked on January 08, he said it is essential to get acquainted with the meaning of the built patrimony, whose names are well known in Kwanza-Norte communities.
According to him, it is important to awake the importance of the built patrimony, as it is a precious capital that needs to be rebuilt and transformed into new spaces of culture, such as culture houses and libraries or for the functioning of cultural associations and holding activities.
"I am speaking about classified historical monuments that were built following the installation of the colonial system and its respective military and administrative equipment, such as the Massangana fortress, Cadeia court, and Paços de Conselho house.
January 08 was instituted National Culture Day in reference to the intervention of the first Angolan President, António Agostinho Neto, at the swearing-in ceremony of the managing board of the Angolan Writers Association (UEA), in 1976.
