Harardhere — Three Somali pirates died and two others are missing after their boat capsized in the coast off Somalia on Friday evening, witnesses said on Saturday.
The pirates took a $3 million ransom and freed yesterday (Friday) a Saudi supertanker seized in the world's biggest ship hijacking.
Residents in Hobyo and Harardheere towns in Mudug region say three pirates died in the coast while two others are still missing in Harardhere coast.
It is widely believed that the capsized boat was transporting some of the ransom payment.
Residents in the area have seen some dollar money in bags on the beach.
Locals say nine pirates were onboard at time of capsizing due a strong wind in the sea but four of them were saved three have died and two are still missing.
