Asmara — A 15 km-long road running from Ruba Shekshek around Denbe-Terer administrative area to Tikul which was damaged by heavy rains has now been renovated through popular campaign.
The acting Administrator of Molqi sub-zone, Mr. Yemane Mehari, commended the local inhabitants for taking the initiative and stressed the need to continue such activities in an enhanced manner. He further indicated that the road is sustaining damage due to the absence of bridge in the area and called on the pertinent body to give the matter due attention.
Meanwhile, reports indicated that an 8 km-long road in Adi-Mihret administrative area that sustained similar damage has been repaired through popular campaign.
Tikul administrative area is located 15 km south of Molqi.
