Luanda — The Angolan head of State, José Eduardo dos Santos Monday here discussed with the special envoy of his Ivorian counterpart, Laurent Gbagbo, the situation in the West African country.
The special adviser for defence and security to Ivory Coast president, Kadet Bertin, was at the Presidential Palace, where he delivered a message whose content was not revealed to the press.
At the end of the audience, Kadet Bertin said that the Angolan President "analysed positively" the evolution of the situation in his country, which currently prepares to hold general elections, in a date still unknown.
The visit of the Ivory Coast's official to Angola has as objective to gather experiences on various issues.
