Angola: Ruling Party's Woman Wing Analyses Activities for 2009

Menongue — The members of Ruling MPLA party's women wing (OMA) in Kuando Kubango, met Tuesday to examine the activities of the provincial committee for the current year, under the chair of its local secretary, Maria Isabel Ferro.

Speaking during the opening of the Fifth meeting, OMA's official praised the participation and commitment of everyone, either member or not, of the organisation, during the legislative elections held on September 2008, which were won by MPLA.

The official praised the President of the Republic, José Eduardo dos Santos, for his commitment in the management of the country, Angolans' welfare, the maintenance of peace and democracy and his contribution to MPLA victory.
