Namibe — Over 50 managers with budgetary units of the south-western Namibe province are attending as from Tuesday a workshop on the way to handle the fund of State General Budget for 2009.
Addressing the opening event, the provincial delegate of Finance, José Cabalo Tanga, called on managers to comply with the general application of the law of the State General Budget for the current year.
According to him, the Finance experts will provide insights on the proclamation and financial execution, implementation of the expenditure, additional credits, and on the issue of return and the internal permanent fund.
The technicians will also examine issues related to accountability, summary of payment and expenditure relating to 2008, the map showing the monthly expenditure report of monitoring of budget execution, and processing of salaries.
AKz 2.5 billion is entitled to the Namibe province which will be used, among others, for construction and rehabilitation of social projects, such as health, education, water and energy
