Luanda — Angolan presidency at the Organisation of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) as well as the perspective of cooperation with Norwegian Kingdom Tuesday here topped the talks between the Angolan National Assembly Speaker, Fernando da Piedade Dias dos Santos, and Norwegian ambassador, Jon Vea.
During 30 minutes, the two entities analysed briefly the parliamentary relations and in domain of fisheries, hydro-energy, as well as the perspectives of cooperation in environmental sector - a new area in which Norway intents to convey its experience.
After considering very good the political relations with Angola, the diplomat underlined that there has been, specially in parliamentary domain, a growing dialogue since over the last two years, which has been marked by the exchange of delegations.
The European country's diplomat defended the importance of keeping the dialogue, at a time Angola assumes OPEC leadership, with the Kingdom of Norway among the major oil producers.
Angola took over, on 01 January, 2009, OPEC presidency, during a ceremony held on 17 December, 2008, in Oran, Algeria.
