Equitorial Trust bank (ETB) has unveiled a new television campaign that will showcase the bank as it positioned towards supporting customers in taking advantage of opportunities in the emerging new Nigeria .

This will rule the nation's airwaves through satellite band and terrestrial television networks. The television commercials will be closely followed by press, outdoor and other tactical activations.

The theme of the campaign, 'The Bank for the Emerging Nigeria', will further entrench and consolidate the positioning of ETB as not just a bank that partners customers to success but understands the economic opportunities in present day Nigeria and is geared to supporting customers to take advantage of these opportunities.

The two TVCs, entitled "Buzz" and "Choose", which are the arrow-heads of the campaign, were shot at select locations in Nigeria employing the best blend of local cast as never seen before with a technical crew made up of local and foreign hands.

ETB, already on its Vision 2010 project, entitled Excellence in Service Delivery, is reputed in the annals of communications in Nigeria as a bank with one of the most memorable TV ads when it debuted with its 'give me my tally number' advert to campaign its quick turn-around time in service delivery.

The new TVCs are largely anticipated to resonate with Nigerians of all walks of life especially with the inclusion of a now popular cliche 'no wahala'," said ETB in a statement.

The Bank's Managing Director, Mr. Ike Oraekwuotu, said the campaign would not only position the bank as a financial institution that understands Nigeria and the various opportunities that abound in its economy, but also highlights its pedigree for Nigerians to take advantage of the economic growth taking place in the new Nigeria.

"Over the years, ETB has been working closely in the key areas of Nigeria 's economy - oil, telecommunications, manufacturing, energy, construction as well as small and medium enterprises," said Oraekwuotu.

He explained that the campaign is meant to bring to the awareness of Nigerians that in the new Nigeria , Nigerians need more than a bank, they need a partner. "And as partners and believers in Nigeria and her economy, this campaign will showcase the qualities of ETB as a bank that is supporting and partnering people, business and enterprise of different walks of life to success," he added.

Mr. Kayode Awokoya, General Manager, Service Delivery of the bank also affirmed the Bank's major drive towards service excellence with the recently launched 'vision 2010', which is to position the bank as the best in condition of service among its peers and also on a global standard. With this level of service, the bank will be better positioned to service both local and multinationals partners better.

The bank was incorporated as a limited liability company on January 30, 1990 and granted commercial banking licence on February 7, 1990 . It commenced business on March 1, 1990 and currently has 90 branches in commercial nerve centres in Nigeria . In Lagos , Nigeria 's business capital, it has over 40 branches located in strategic parts of the city. It also has six branches in Abuja , Nigeria 's seat of government.

The bank came into the market with a vision to be a pace-setting institution committed to quality service and staff excellence. It also employs modern information technology to deliver excellent service to customers.
