Kampala — THE Auditor General, John Muwanga, has contracted a Kenyan firm to carry out a forensic audit on the major investment and procurement transactions done by the National Social Security Fund since January 2005.
Muwanga said a team of top auditors from the KPMG Nairobi office had arrived to start the audit. He told Saturday Vision the team would work with auditors in his office. He however, declined to comment on the amount of money that would be paid to the firm. Neither did he reveal when the auditors would start work. Auditors from the Auditor General's office are gathering information.
