Sokoto — Yabo Local Government Council in Sokoto spent N3.9 million to build a graveyard at Birnin-Ruwa, its Chairman, Alhaji Bala Yabo, has said.Bala told newsmen yesterday in Yabo that part of the money went into the construction of boreholes and the purchase of implements used for digging graves.

He said that the project became necessary since the community did not have a permanent graveyard over the years. Bala called on the people to maintain the project as all mortals would naturally end there.

He also advised the people to continue to live in peace with one another, saying that more capital projects were on the way.
