Vanguard learnt that the incident, which occurred penultimate Saturday in the coastal enclave of the state, left families homeless and about 27 local gin distilling camps and several hundreds of raffia palms destroyed.
Troubled by the destruction of their means of livelihood, the traumatized people of the community have called on the state and federal governments as well as SPDC to come to their aid.
