Nigeria: Country Disappoints Fifa

Enugu — THE Inspection team from the Federation of International Football Association (FIFA) weekend expressed disappointment over the poor level of Nigeria's preparation for the hosting of the Under 17 world cup.

The FIFA team led by its Vice President, Mr. Jacque Warner, who visited Enugu State for the inspection of facilities weekend did not hide its dissatisfaction with what they met on ground in Nigeria.Although Warner and his team were not particular about Enugu State, they lamented that out of the nine centres vying for the hosting rights, only one, Abuja stadium has so far met the standard set by the world football body.
