Mai-Aini — The construction of a communal hospital in Mai-Aini at a cost of over 13 million Nakfa has been finalized, according to Eng. Kalid Saleh, head of engineering service and project supervisor in Southern regional Administration.

The hospital situated on 30,000 square meters of land is equipped with 40 rooms, including a laboratory, pharmacy and emergency room, among others.

Eng. Kalid further indicated that the project was undertaken through Haben Construction Company and that the hospital is expected to provide efficient service in the near future.

He pointed out that a water tanker with a capacity of holding about 800 cubic meters of water has been constructed to facilitate the activities of the hospital, in addition to the construction of residential houses for its staff members.

Mai-Aini is inhibited by more than 30,000 people.
