Zimbabwe: Govt Fails to Rein in Spiralling Debt

ZIMBABWE'S domestic debt stood at $56,9 sextillion ($56,9 trillion) at December 31, a significant rise from $390,5 million on August 15 last year.

The country's external debt stock stood at US$4,69 billion during the same period, about two and half times the size of the 2009 National budget presented on Thursday last week.
