Mogadishu — The ICU officials and Somali president Sheik Sharif Sheik Ahmed have held meeting in the Somali presidential palace on Saturday in Mogadishu and talked more about how the country would be ruled Sharia law and continue the peace process, officials told Shabelle radio on Sunday.
ICU spokesman, Sheik Abdirahin Isse Addow and more other high officials of the United Islamic Courts including Sheik Abdukadir Ali Omar, ICU leader met with the Somali transitional president Sheik Sharif Sheik Ahmed in Villa Somalia in Mogadishu and they have discussed in their meeting for many affairs concerning how they would continue the reconciliation and peace process between the Somalia people.
Mr. Adow has told Shabelle radio that they had agreed to put pressure how they would restore the peace and stability of Somalia negotiating all sides of the Somali insurgents and helping the Somali people that effected the conflicts and other natural problems in Somalia.
It was the first time that United Islamic Courts officials meet with the newly elected president of Somalia Shaik Sharif Sheik Ahmed since he was elected as Somali president last week in Djibouti.
