Kolmanskop — A SENIOR official in the Ministry of Environment and Tourism has dismissed claims that there were no consultations with local communities before the proclamation of the Sperrgebiet as a national park.
Dr Kalumbi Shangula, the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry, said there is documentary evidence that local people and other stakeholders were consulted on the process that led to the proclamation of the park.
