Nigeria: Scholar Tasks Writers on Hausa Arabic Scripts

Kano — A cultural anthropologist and lecturer with the Faculty of Education, Bayero University, Kano, Professor Abdalla Uba Adamu, has challenged writers using the medium of Hausa Language to render their writings in Arabic numerals known as "ajami".

Adamu issued the challenge at a public presentation of a book on Computer and Information Technology titled, Koyi Komfuta Cikin Sauki. "Learning Computer, the Easy Way" authored by Malam Sagir Abubakar launched in Kano.
