South Africa: Court Bid to Delay Calling of Election

Johannesburg — THE Pretoria High Court will tomorrow continue its hearing of an application by a member of the Freedom Front Plus to interdict the president from promulgating the date of the general election.

Willem Richter, a member of the party, won his court bid yesterday to allow citizens living abroad and who had registered to vote in the election.
