Tunis — The Tunisian Olympic champion Oussama Mellouli, netted a third gold medal at the Swimming Grand Prix in Missouri, by winning the 1500 freestyle race in 15m 22' 12' on Sunday.

On Saturday, the Tunisian swimmer also won gold by finishing first in the 200 m freestyle race.

Mellouli who ends the competition among the top multiple winners, is preceded only by the American Olympic medallist, Ryan Lochte with 4 wins and Mary DeScenza with 5 victories.

Twenty five year- old Oussama Mellouli is Tunisia's second gold medallist after Mohammed Gammoudi, who won the 5000 m gold medal in Mexico in 1968.
