Nigeria: CRFFN Enforces Directive on Off Dock Facilities By Terminal Operators

Council for the Regulation of Freight Forwarding in Nigerian (CRFFN) has commenced the implementation of the directive by the task force on de-congestion of the ports to instruct all shipping companies in the country to show their off dock facilities located outside the ports to the Council.

The exercise in aimed at facilitating the speedy de-congestion of the ports in a bid to meeting the 60 days ultimatum handed down on the task force.To this end, the Council has already written to all the shipping companies, instructing them to comply with the directive 24 hours after receipt of the letter from them.
