Nigeria: LG Revitalisation - Algon Constitutes 18-Man Committee

Abuja — In a bid to reposition local governments in public view as a responsible, transparent and responsive tier of government that needs to be sustained and encouraged, the Association of Local Government of Nigeria (ALGON), has inaugurated an 18-man committee to handle a variety of proposed programmes and projects.

This was made known yesterday in a speech delivered by the National President of ALGON, Alhaji Ibrahim Dasuki Jalo Waziri, at the inauguration of the Project Verification Committee in Abuja.
