Benguela — Angolan minister of Territory Administration, Virgílio de Fontes Pereira, considered as correct the way the district administrations of Benguela, Lobito, Cubal and Ganda are using the Usd 5.0 million the central Government allocated to each.
The minister was speaking to journalists on Thursday in Benguela, at the end of a visit to four districts of that central province which benefited from the Administration Support Fund.
He said he noted with satisfaction that social undertakings are in progress in each of the localities he visited.
The minister stressed the fact that the money has served for the repair of infrastructures that directly benefit the citizens, like medical centres, schools, basic sanitation, electricity and water, which considered as areas of Government priority.
Virgílio Fontes Pereira said the administrations responded to central Government's purpose of addressing the punctual problems concerning the communities in due time.
According to the official, the experience and gains obtained will encourage the Government to extend the Support Fund to all district administrations of the country.
Accompanied by members of his office, the Territory Administration minister returned Thursday in Luanda, after a 48 hours working visit to Benguela province.
