Nigeria: Bauchi Crisis Worsens - Nine Lives Lost, 13 Churches Torched So Far

MORE violence occurred in Bauchi in the wee hours of Sunday in Gudum-Sayawa, a Bauchi suburb, with nine persons losing their lives in the mayhem, while the number of churches torched so far has risen to 13, in addition to houses and cars whose number could not be ascertained at press time.

Six of the nine persons were killed by gunfire, while the remaining three were hacked down with cutlasses and left in pools of their blood, as tension gripped the entire city on news that crises have erupted in other parts like Yelwa and Muda Lawal.
