"Forgiveness is not an occasional act, it is a permanent attitude." Jean Paul Samputu, the acclaimed singer and UN peace activist, is well placed to make the claim, having struggled himself for years before being able to forgive the murderer of his family. Both of them were recently on a tour in Rwanda to preach forgiveness and reconciliation.
