Angola's Planning Minister, Ana Dias Lourenço, is expected on wednesday in Cape Town, South Africa, to attend the meeting of the Council of Ministers of the Southern Africa Development Community (SADC), on Thursday and Friday, Angop has learnt.
The meeting will discuss impact of the world financial crisis on the countries of the region, the organisation's budget, the situation in
Zimbabwe, the construction of a new building for SADC headquarter and the Sadc/European Union partnership accords.
According to an official source the Minister delegation includes the Deputy Foreign Affairs Minister, Exalgina Gamboa, and the Director for Africa and Midlle East, Nelson Cosme.
Angola is participating in the prepatory meeting with a multilateral delegation, that integrates experts of the Sadc national secretariate and of the Ministries of Planning, External Relations and Finances.
