Angola: 'Water for All' Project to Reaches Nine Bie Districts

Kuito — The governor of central Bié province, Candida Celeste da Silva, has said that the "water for all" project will benefit the population of the province's nine districts.

The governor said so on Monday at the ceremony of presentation of the current state of socioeconomic and cultural development of Bié province during the seventh edition of the National Holiday Camping of University Students (Canfeu) going from 23 - 28 this month in Kuito city.

According to Candida Celeste da Silva, the construction works of the new abstraction, processing and distribution station of drinking water is in progress.

The USD 20 million project is in being carried out by the Chinese construction firm "Sino Hydro".

On the other hand, Candida Celeste da Silva explained that her sector is committed to building and rehabilitating district hospitals, health centres and illuminating the districts of Kuito, Andulo, Kamacupa, Kunhinga, Chinguar, Kuemba, Nharea, Katabola, Chitembo.

She appealed to the participants in debates, discussions and reflections leading to the effective growth of the country and the province of Bié.
