Nigeria: Govt Set to Inseminate 30,000 Cows

Dutse — Jigawa State government has selected about thirty thousand cows from different species for the experiment of artificial insemination program launched by the state.

The state commissioner for agriculture, Alhaji Nasidi Ali, disclosed this in an interview with newsmen in Dutse. He explained that the decision to introduce artificial insemination to livestock farmers in the state is part of the present administration's effort to reposition the agricultural sector.
