Harare — ANTANANARIVO, One month after the beginning of the current political crisis in the Indian Ocean island country Madagascar, there has been no sign of a peaceful solution to the stalemate between President Marc Ravalomanana and his rival, Andry Rajoelina.
Meanwhile, Madagascar's economy has shown signs of shrinking and observers feared a recession if peaceful solutions to the crisis could not be found soon among politicians of the country.
