Tunis — Chairing the meeting of the Democratic Constitutional Rally's (RCD) political bureau on Friday, President Zine El Abidine Ben Ali recommended to fine tune preparations for the forthcoming political events, as well as boosting the number of intellectual activities and grass root actions.

He also stressed the importance of mobilizing the party insofar as the sectors of youth, students and women are concerned.

Setting the date for the next meeting of the RCD central committee on April 3 and 4, 2009, President Ben Ali called to intensify spaces of dialogue and political thought fora within the RCD.

During the meeting, the RCD political bureau reviewed the agenda of forthcoming political and cultural events which are scheduled to take place on the occasion of Independence and Youth Days respectively on March 20 and 21, 2009.
