Nigeria: Give Education, Employment Attention, Rep Tells Ohakim

Owerri — Member representing Mbaitoli/Ikeduru Federal Constituency in Imo State at the National Assembly, Hon. Bethel Amadi, has urged Governor Ikedi Ohakim to give adequate attention to the ailing education sector and further initiate programmes that will generate employment opportunities for the teeming unemployed youths in the state.

Hon. Amadi, who spoke with LEADERSHIP when he attended a function in his home state over the weekend, expressed conviction that the governor has, within the period demonstrated the will to take the state to a higher level, explaining that such should be complimented by giving more attention to areas that have direct and positive impact on the lives of the people.
