Angola: Singer Flay to Release CD in December

The Angolan musician Joaquim Lopes da Silva Neto "Flay" announced last weekend in Lobito City, in the central Benguela Province, the release of his fifth album in December.

The 37-year old musician, who was born in this province's Catumbela locality, in Lobito District, said to ANGOP that everything is almost ready to release the CD which will comprise 13 tracks.

According him, the work will include songs that talks about love, family education, peace in society and at home, as well as themes about AIDS and the cares to be taken regarding environment preservation.

The artist underlined that Angolan music has re-conquered its markets concerning public acceptance, due to the quality of CDs being produced in the country.

He gave as examples the albums of the Angolan musicians Paulo Flor, Yuri da Cunha, Eduardo Paim, Irmãos de Almeida, Matias Damásio, among others.

The singer said that he currently lives on his music.
